What is the cost to the Senior (or Senior Advocate)?
$29/hour, with most of the proceeds going to support your local Neighbor. We can keep costs low compared to other in-home senior services because of our utilization of nearby qualified Neighbors and low overhead model.

Is there any commitment or obligation of use?
A 1 hour visit minimum is put in place to respect the time of a Neighbor for a visit. Unlike other in-home senior care companies, Sinecera Care does not require a multiple hour, day, week or even month commitment of service.

How do I know a Neighbor is safe to come over to my house?
Neighbors are thoroughly vetted through a process consisting of a background check, training, 1:1 interview, service assessment and are always located directly within the community.

What services are available for a Senior?
The complete list of services are provided on the Sinecera Care homepage. These are mainly considered ‘Homemaker Services’ as defined by the state.

What services are restricted for a Senior?
Sinecera Care does not provide ‘Personal Care Services’ or ‘Skilled Healthcare Services’ as defined by the state. Basically, a ‘no-contact’ rule of thumb.

What insurance is provided through Sinecera Care?
Sinecera Care is able to provide peace of mind to Seniors and Neighbors by providing the following insurance; Professional & General Liability - $1M/$3M Coverage/Aggregate; Abuse & Molestation - $100k/$300k Coverage/Aggregate.

Can a Senior sign-up as a Neighbor and a Senior?
Absolutely! Seniors can help and be helped depending on the service requested.

What is the age requirement to sign up as a Senior?
The current age requirement to receive Sinecera Care services is 62+. Everyone could use a little help but Seniors deserve and have earned the right to the services!

Where is Sinecera Care available?
Our services are currently only available in the Carbon Valley community of Frederick, Firestone, and Dacono. If you are outside this area, please sign-up through our app to have your zip code considered next for release!

How do payments work?
Just as simply as purchasing from Amazon (using the same secure methodology), the Senior (or Senior Advocate) loads a credit card into the system and is charged on an as-consumed basis. No payment is collected until after a visit has occurred.

Can I sign-up as a Senior's family member or friend?
Absolutely! You are considered a ‘Senior Advocate’ in the Sinecera Care system and have the ability to manage the process for your loved-one.

How much does the Neighbor get paid?
$21/hour. We can pass-through most of the cost from the Senior to the Neighbor because of our utilization of nearby qualified Neighbors and low overhead model.

How does a Neighbor account for taxable income?
A Neighbor is setup as an independent contractor within the Sinecera Care system. As such, 1099s are issued to the Neighbors.

What is the age and other requirements to sign up as a Neighbor?
Neighbors must be 18+ years old, go through a background check, customized training, 1:1 interview, service assessment and live within the community.
